What Personal Information About Users Does UDFI Collect?
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to personalize and improve our service. We collect the following types of information from our users:
A) Information You Provide to Us:
We may receive and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our special features. The personal information you provide may be used for such purposes as responding to your requests for certain products and services, customizing the advertising and content you see, and communicating with you about specials, sales offers and new products.
Registration: In order for you to use our website, you must complete a registration form. As part of this registration form, we require your your email address, your password, your zip code, your timezone and that you agree to the terms and conditions of jenniebot.com. When you use UDFI, you may set up your profile, your reminders and the types of reminders you would like to receive. In most cases, we retain it so that you can return to view saved lists or sent messages. When you update your information, we usually keep a back-up copy of the prior version for a reasonable period of time. We collect this information in order to provide you the service and offer you a more personalized and relevant experience on UDFI. Although we allow you to set privacy options that limit access to your pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.
B) Automatic Information:
- We may receive and store use information whenever you interact with us. UDFI may automatically receive and record certain "traffic data" on our server logs from your browser including your browser type, IP address, UDFI cookie information, and the page you requested. UDFI uses this traffic data, among other things, to help diagnose problems with its server, analyze trends and administer the website.
- Generally, our service may automatically collect usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to our website and its components. This type of collective data enables us to figure out how often users use parts of the website, so we can make the website appealing to as many users as possible. In addition, we may provide statistical information to our partners about how our users collectively use our website. We share this type of statistical data so that our partners also understand how often people use their areas and our website, so that they, too, may provide you with an optimal Web experience.
- We may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people in a network like an item, a store, or a brand and personalizing advertisements and promotions so that we can provide you with a more relevant and personalized experience on UDFI. We believe this benefits you
- We may also use information about you that we collect when you use our tools on other websites.
- Many companies offer programs that help you to visit websites anonymously. While UDFI will not be able to provide you with a personalized experience if we cannot recognize you, we want you to be aware that these programs are available.
C) E-mail Communications:
- We may receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from UDFI if your computer supports this type of program, in order to help us make e-mails more interesting and helpful. We may also send out emails with news or promotions. If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please notify us by e-mail at support@jenniebot.com with sufficient information for us to identify your account.
- If you choose to use our information service to tell a contact about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your contact's email address. We will automatically send your contact a one-time email or instant message inviting him, her or them to visit the site. UDFI stores this information to send this one-time invitation, to register a contact connection if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our referral program.
D) Information from Other Sources:
For purposes such as improving personalization of our service, we may receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information.
